A full-size polisher cannot get into a bumper vent, a pillar or the gap around a badge. A mini can, and the published figures split them into three kinds.

Three kinds of mini polisher
The first kind is a multi-motion micro tool. Adam’s SK Pro Micro and the RUPES iBrid Nano II both switch between rotary, 3mm and 12mm heads, and Adam’s put theirs on a 1.5 inch plate for emblems, license plate surrounds and piano black trim. The second is a 3 inch orbital: the RUPES HLR75 at 12mm and Griot’s G8 at 8mm, for pillars, bumpers and small panels. The third is anything whose listing does not say which it is.

Battery, cord, or both
RUPES’ iBrid machines run on a battery or, with the iBrid power adapter, from the wall, and RUPES state the output is identical either way. Adam’s sell the SK Pro Micro cordless, with a cord adapter as a $269.99 option. The Griot’s G8 is corded, which is why it is the cheapest here by some distance.
Run time is published for two
Adam’s publish up to an hour at maximum speed from two 12V batteries, and a variable speed of 2,000 to 6,000 per minute. RUPES publish 35 to 45 minutes per charge for the HLR75 and about 35 minutes to recharge, with two batteries in the box. Obsessed Garage’s Nano II listing gives no battery figures at all.
A mini is a second machine
