A drill is a rotary
McKee’s 37 say their 3 inch drill backing plate turns a cordless drill into a rotary polisher, and Adam’s draw the line in the same place: their 4 inch drill system is approved for spot treatments, scratch removal and headlight restoration, and not for detailing a whole vehicle.

Headlights and single scratches
The two backing plates take small hook-and-loop pads: Adam’s 4 inch plate has a fiberglass core bonded to polyurethane foam and fits their 4 inch pads, and the Redline 3 inch plate is sized for 3.75 inch Redline foam pads. Metal and wheels
Shine Supply’s foam heads are for bare metal and tight shapes. The Stinger cone reaches lug nuts, spokes and exhaust tips; the Cherry Bomb ball fits the inside of exhaust tips and the curves of wheel faces and barrels.
