Four of these five publish no pressure rating and no flow rate at all. The fifth publishes a full datasheet, in a catalog PDF rather than on anything that sells it, and it does not say what the listings say.

Answer this before you read any further
Do you own a pressure washer? If yes, buy a cannon. If no, you are choosing between a garden-hose foam gun, which produces a thin wet foam that runs off before it dwells, and spending $200 or more on a pressure washer first. That is the actual decision, and no amount of cannon comparison changes it.
A cannon works by mixing soap solution into a high-pressure stream through a small orifice. Take the pressure away and the mechanism does not function properly — the mix ratio collapses and what comes out is soapy water with bubbles in it. The specifications almost nobody publishes
Four of these five publish no maximum pressure rating, no flow rate and no mix ratio, and three publish no canister capacity either. That is remarkable for a category of hardware, and it means most of this ranking is built on build quality and design features rather than on performance figures, because for most of these products the performance figures do not exist.
The exception is the MTM Hydro, and it took finding the manufacturer’s own catalog to see it: MTM Hydro rate the PF22.2 at 20 MPa with 22 MPa permissible and a rated flow of 11.5 l/min, which is 2,900 PSI, 3,200 PSI and 3 GPM. Why brass matters and plastic does not
The parts of a foam cannon that wear are the orifice and the threads. An orifice that erodes changes the mix ratio, which is why a cheap cannon that foamed well in year one is disappointing in year three. Brass holds its dimensions; plated pot metal does not, and plastic threads strip.
MTM Hydro is the only maker here publishing what the body is made of, and the only one publishing a pressure or a flow figure anywhere, which is why the PF22.2 sits at the top. A cannon is plumbing, and plumbing is judged on materials.
The canister is the second thing
Adam’s publishes 35 oz, which is the largest in the group; MTM Hydro publish 1 liter, or 33.8 oz, in their catalog, while every listing selling the same cannon says 32 oz. On a large vehicle the difference between a 32 oz and a 35 oz bottle is whether you refill mid-wash, which is a small annoyance repeated every single time you use it.
The soap matters more than the cannon
A mediocre cannon with a high-foaming soap produces better foam than an excellent cannon with a normal shampoo. That is not an argument against buying good hardware; it is a warning against buying good hardware and then being disappointed because you filled it with the wrong chemistry. Adjust the cannon’s dial to change the mix ratio and the fan angle to change coverage. The ULTRA H2O’s detent system exists precisely because most people spend the first five minutes of every wash hunting for last week’s setting, and that is a genuinely good reason to spend $69.

Skip this one. It is the only product here that runs off a garden hose, which makes it the right answer for somebody with no pressure washer and the wrong answer for everybody else. If you already own a pressure washer, spending $49.99 on this instead of a real cannon buys worse foam.
$49.99 and the answer to the question everyone asks: yes, this one connects to a standard garden hose and no, it will not produce what a pressure-washer cannon produces. If you have no pressure washer and no plans to buy one, this is the honest option.
